Jaintiapur is in Bangladesh's Sylhet division, an hour or so from the Dawki crossing. It was the plains capital of the Jaintia kingdom, whose hill capital at Nartiang is now in Meghalaya — one kingdom with a border through it, so reaching this Peetha from India means leaving India. The Goddess here is worshipped as Jayanti and her guardian Bhairava as Kramadishwar.
