Over fifty metres long and thirty metres above the ground: this is reckoned the longest living root bridge there is, and it is the height, not the length, that people underestimate. The trek begins at Rangthylliang village, which the bridge is named after, and ends at Mawkyrnot. Rangthylliang has several other root bridges besides this one, so the day is worth doing as a walk rather than as a means of reaching a single photograph. If heights trouble you, know that number before you set out.
