Three tiers, and the last one is where it gets interesting: the water splits into two rivulets that pick up speed and rejoin on the final leg. The drop totals 305 metres, seventh highest in India, and it sits inside Thangkharang Park, 12 kilometres out of Cherrapunji, so you see it from a laid-out park rather than at the end of a trek. That suits some visitors and disappoints others. Worth the stop while you are around Cherrapunji; not worth the drive on its own.
