Getting there is most of it. Phullen sits 125 kilometres east of Aizawl in Saitual district, with Darlawn block on its western side and Ngopa to the east, and it is the headquarters of Phullen block. Like the rest of Mizoram it is run by an elected Village Council rather than an officer posted in from outside. No monument is waiting at the end of that road. Go because you want the eastern hills and a working hill town, or do not go at all.
