First, clear up the confusion: this Ross Island is the one off the northeast coast of North Andaman, not the Ross Island opposite Port Blair. Port Cornwallis is the harbour there, and the most definite thing to look at is the lighthouse commissioned in 1973, standing on the summit of Bopung Hill at the entrance of Aerial Bay. It is a working corner of the far north of the chain rather than a sight — reason enough to look if you are already in North Andaman, not reason to travel.
