What UNESCO listed in 1986 is not one building but the whole set of religious monuments in Old Goa, capital of Portuguese India and the centre from which Catholic missions worked across Asia from the 16th century. Part of the case was about art: Manueline, Mannerist and Baroque forms carried out of here into missions across the continent. The single object most people come for sits in the Basilica of Bom Jesus, the tomb of Francis Xavier. They are all in the one town, so do the group in a single visit rather than splitting it across two.
