Thirty-five kilometres out of Hyderabad, on top of Paramanand Giri hill at Sanghi Nagar, with a Raja Gopuram tall enough to pick out from several kilometres away. It is described as a replica of the Tirumala temple, which tells you what to expect: the shape and the scale of a great pilgrimage temple, on a hill you can reach in a morning from the city. It draws a steady flow of devotees and is run by the Sanghi family. Go early on a weekday and give it an hour, then carry on rather than making the trip only for this.
