Jampui Hills is Tripura's only hill range, running along the Mizoram border in North Tripura district at an average altitude of about 1,000 metres. Home to Mizo and Reang communities, it is known for orange orchards, sunrise and sunset viewpoints, and Betlingchhip, the state's highest point.
When to go
October to December brings peak orange harvest and colorful orchards; the wider October-March window is coolest and clearest for viewpoints.
