Tagore wrote about this one, which is most of why anyone makes the 55 km run out from Agartala to Rajnagar. The temple is believed to date from between 1660 and 1675, and it stands next to the palace Govinda Manikya built, so the two read as a single site rather than two stops. Come knowing that the literary association is doing much of the lifting here; if Tagore means nothing to you this is a modest visit, and you would want to pair it with something else in the south of the state.
