Much of the reason to come is the walk up, past hills, streams and bamboo groves along the road, with a Ganesha temple halfway. At the end of it there is no temple building at all, only a hill stream running continuously over a linga on Dakini hill, beside Deepor Beel. Devotees hold this to be the Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga, where Shiva took form to destroy the demon Bhimasura; the Bhimashankar near Pune claims the same, and the argument is old and unsettled. Go for the setting and the water rather than the certainty.
