Burail's fort, in Sector 45, has a short and violent record: built in the Mughal period, held by a Mughal faujdar until 1712, then taken by the Khalsa army that Banda Singh sent, who killed the faujdar. Little else about it is documented. This is a stop for people who follow Sikh military history rather than a general sight, and it makes most sense folded into something else you are already doing on this side of the city.
