Hussainiwala village sits out past Firozpur city, and the memorial there is held for Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Thapar and Shivaram Rajguru. It is also a working border point. A flag-lowering ceremony runs here every day, conducted jointly by the Indian and Pakistani armed forces, the same ritual as the one at Wagah-Attari. Build the afternoon around the ceremony rather than fitting it in around something else: confirm the day's timing before you leave Firozpur, then arrive with enough margin to walk the memorial first. Wagah is the version people have heard of. This is the one with the names.
