Netarhat is among the highest points of the Chotanagpur plateau, in Latehar district, and it has been called the Queen of Chotanagpur for long enough that the phrase now arrives before the place does. Its reputation rests on the forest and the waterfalls in it rather than on any one thing you can tick off, which should change how you plan. Give it two nights instead of a day. A hill station with no single sight rewards the hours at either end of the day, and punishes anyone who drives up, looks around and leaves.
