Kasbeswari Kali Mata

You are standing more or less on the international line here. Dhanya Manikya put this Kali temple on a hillock in the late 15th century at Kasba, about 27 km from Agartala, with the Kamalasagar lake spread out below it and the Bangladesh border immediately alongside. The hillock does most of the work — the reason to climb is what you see over the water. Carry identification, given how close the frontier runs, and leave time for the lake itself rather than treating it as a backdrop to the shrine.
